Healthy Twix Bars

Craving something sweet but want to keep it healthy? My healthy Twix bars are the perfect solution! These delicious treats are not only high in protein but also formulated to be hormone-friendly, making them a healthier option to support muscle growth, keep you full longer, and help maintain steady energy levels. For the cookie:

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1/2 cup protein powder

  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1 1/2 tbsp yacon syrup

  • 1 egg

For the caramel:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 1/4 coconut oil, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup yacon syrup

For the chocolate layer:

  • 1 1/4 cup 85% dark chocolate

  • Flakey salt

Directions (makes 21 servings):

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees faranheit.

  2. In a bowl mis together all of your cookie layer ingredients/ Press into a parchment lined loaf pan and bake for 10 minutes until golden.

  3. While that’s cooking, mix together all of your caramel ingredients. Once your cookie layer is cooked and cooled, pour your caramel mixture on top in an even layer. Freeze for 2-3 hours until fully frozen.

  4. Melt your chocolate. Cut your cookie and caramel loaf into bars. Immediately dip into your melted chocolate and finish with some flaky sea salt. Keep refrigerated to prevent melting.
