What you’ll need:

  • 6 medjool dates (soak in hot water for 5 minutes if not soft)

  • 1/2 cup puffed quina

  • 3/4 cups hazelnut butter

  • 1/2 cup protein powder

  • 3 tbsp yacon syrup

  • 1/4 cup cacao nibs

  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts, chopped

  • sea salt

  • 85% chocolate, melted

Directions (makes 12 servings):

  1. Blend together dates, hazelnut butter, and yacon sryup.

  2. Mix in your puffed quinoa, cacao nibs, chopped hazelnuts, protein powder. Let mix cool.

  3. Form 12 bars let cool in freezer for 10 mins while melting down 85% dark chocolate.

  4. Dip each bar in chocolate and sprinkle with cacao nibs for added crunch. Finish with a sprinkle of salt.

  5. Let the chocolate harder in freezer again for 10 minutes before enjoying!
