Ferrero Rocher Bars

6 ingredient better-for-you ferrero rocher bars! This is the perfect sweet treat to satisfy your cravings and of course, it's Gold Standard approved! These bars are completely gluten-free, dairy-free and sweetened with nature.

What you'll need for the base:

  • 1 cup hazelnuts

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 6 dates

  • 1/4 cup hazelnut butter

  • 3 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup yacon

  • 1/4 cup protein powder

  • 1/4 almond milk

For topping:

  • 150g 75% dark chocolate chips

  • 2 tbsp hazelnut butter

  • Chopped hazelnuts to top

Directions (makes 16 servings):

  1. Add all of your base ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until combined. You should have a cookie dough like consistency.

  2. Press your base mixture into the bottom of a parchment lined loaf pan and press it into a nice even layer. Refrigerate while you make your topping.

  3. For the topping, melt and combine your chocolate chips and hazelnut butter.

  4. Spread your chocolate hazelnut topping over your base and sprinkle your chopped hazelnuts on top.

  5. Return it to the fridge to set. Once set, cut into 16 even pieces and ENJOY!
